The Details

All components of the limited edition Vespa 946 Dragon body are realized in a desaturated gold in alternating matte and gloss satin finishes, including the shield surround, the saddle and strap support, the mirror stems, the handle grips, the passenger footrests, the rear rack supports, the wheel rims and a central element of the wheel hub. A burnished gray was chosen for the more technical components, the wheel rim channel, the stud, the steering cover friezes, the bag hook, the heat shield, the handlebar control blocks, the round engine casing cap and the front fork arm cover.

The Varsity Jacket

Crafted in light beige ribbed wool and soft, Nappa leather sleeves, the Dragon Varsity jacket sees the brand’s V monogram embroidered for the first time above an ancient Chinese proverb, “He who wants to be a dragon must eat many little snakes.” Handcrafted in emerald green embroidery, the dragon emerges on the front left pocket and back panel of the jacket. The right sleeve sees a numeric cascade, while the left nods to Vespa’s historic archive with a double-bitten apple logo on the sleeve, accompanied by a Yin and Yang symbol. The jacket is finished with lining in ‘Origin’, the color of the original Vespa. A timeless collector’s item, the Varsity jacket features a silhouette as timeless as Vespa’s legacy.
